heurist-mesh-skillPulls live crypto token data, DeFi metrics, wallet holdings, project research and Twitter/X signals through Heurist Mesh agents over a REST API.
Heurist Mesh is a network of modular AI agent tools for cryptocurrency and blockchain data behind one REST API, and this skill points the agent at the right ones. The agents named in the input cover trending tokens and market summaries, token search and profiles, DeFi protocol and chain metrics from DefiLlama, Twitter/X timelines and searches, web search with summaries, EVM address labels, wallet token and NFT holdings, a project database with semantic search across 10k+ projects, and academic research.
It is meant for token discovery, protocol TVL and revenue comparisons, wallet lookups, project due diligence and sentiment checks, and deeper market questions are escalated to AskHeuristAgent. Reference files explain discovering agents, getting a Heurist API key and paying through inflow or x402. The skill needs network access and curl or an equivalent HTTP client.
3 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit fa89195. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
curlFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
mesh.heurist.xyzmesh.heurist.aiFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
HEURIST_API_KEYWALLET_PRIVATE_KEYINFLOW_PRIVATE_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Requires network access and curl or equivalent HTTP client.
From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Heurist Mesh Crypto Data loads about 1.7k tokens when it runs, and up to ~3.9k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 79 tokens; SKILL.md has 688 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Heurist Mesh Crypto Data needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl) and credentials named HEURIST_API_KEY, WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY and INFLOW_PRIVATE_KEY. Our summary lists: Network access with curl or an equivalent HTTP client; A Heurist API key, or a payment route described in the references. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Requires network access and curl or equivalent HTTP client..
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: mesh.heurist.xyz and mesh.heurist.ai; the agent is likely to contact these when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Heurist Mesh Crypto Data has a licence file (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.2k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
