deep-research-reportProduce a comprehensive, referenced deep-research report on a given topic as a downloadable markdown file.
Deep Research Report is an agent skill from impredicative/podgenai. Produce a comprehensive, referenced deep-research report on a given topic as a downloadable markdown file. Use when asked for a deep-research report or for its CHK, GEN, or MRG follow-up commands to check coverage, generate a supplemental report, or merge reports.
Its SKILL.md is about 510 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Research & Science, covering Deep research. It works with OpenAI and Python. The repository describes itself as: OpenAI GPT based informational audiobook/podcast mp3 generator. The licence is LGPL-3.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 136ea00. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Deep Research Report loads about 513 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 71 tokens; SKILL.md has 275 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from impredicative/podgenai at commit 136ea00, republished under its LGPL-3.0 licence (© impredicative). 275 words, ~513 tokens.
.claude/skills/deep-research-report/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Produce a comprehensive deep-research report on the given topic.
Unless there are ambiguities that must be clarified, proceed with the deep research.
Do not provide an initialization note, progress updates, planning notes, meta-commentary, or task-status comments before, during, or after report. The user will just wait until the report becomes ready.
More detail and a longer report are typically better, so take your time.
Claims and statements in the report must individually be backed by good references. Synthesis is acceptable when it is high value and high confidence.
Do not write the report in the chat. Instead, provide it for download in a downloadable markdown file. The downloaded report file is to be a formal deliverable that will be shared with many users, so it definitely must never contain any commentary pertaining to the research request.
Follow-up commands:
After the report is made available to the user, the user may issue one or more follow-up commands:

Deep Research Report fits situations like: asked for a deep-research report; MRG follow-up commands to check coverage; generate a supplemental report.
Run `npx skills add impredicative/podgenai --skill deep-research-report -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/deep-research-report in impredicative/podgenai) into .claude/skills/deep-research-report in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add impredicative/podgenai --skill deep-research-report -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/deep-research-report in impredicative/podgenai) into .agents/skills/deep-research-report in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add impredicative/podgenai --skill deep-research-report -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/deep-research-report, .gemini/skills/deep-research-report, .github/skills/deep-research-report and .opencode/skills/deep-research-report in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Deep Research Report is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Deep Research Report is published under the LGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 513 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
