What it does

Salesforce is an agent skill from HybridAIOne/hybridclaw. Read Salesforce leads, contacts, opportunities, inspect schema/SOQL metadata, update opportunity stage/probability, and log calls, emails, or meetings with a deterministic gateway-proxied helper.

Its SKILL.md is about 2k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 8 other files, including scripts and reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`, `evals/scenarios.json` and `references/metadata-and-queries.md`).

It sits in Sales & Support, covering CRM management. It works with Salesforce. The repository describes itself as: Enterprise-ready self-hosted AI assistant runtime with sandboxed execution, secure credentials, approvals, and memory. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve CRM management

Example prompts

  • “/salesforce”

Requirements

  • Python 3
  • A credential in SF_FULL_SECRET
  • A credential in SF_ACCESS_TOKEN

Workflow steps

9 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Start with read/plan commands. Do not mutate CRM state unless the user explicitly asks.
  2. Run the bundled helper directly via bash in the current session
  3. Use plan for natural-language requests when you need to inspect the API actions before execution.
  4. Use run for supported opinionated workflows, for example "Move the Acme deal to Closed Won and log a call from today".
  5. Use find leads|contacts|opportunities for business-row reads before a write target is ambiguous.
  6. Use objects, describe, or relations before writing SOQL against an unfamiliar object.
  7. Use query for row reads. Add a SOQL LIMIT unless the user explicitly needs a larger fetch.
  8. Use tooling-query for metadata objects such as CustomObject, FieldDefinition, ApexClass, and flow metadata.
  9. If login fails, confirm that SF_FULL_PASSWORD already includes any required Salesforce security token.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 8162701. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

Ships 1 file in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • python3

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:

    • SF_FULL_PASSWORD
    • SF_FULL_SECRET
    • SF_ACCESS_TOKEN

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Salesforce loads about 2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~3.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 52 tokens; SKILL.md has 615 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~52
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~2k
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~3.1k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

Salesforce

Use this skill for Salesforce CRM work from an org you can access with stored OAuth credentials.

Scope

  • global object discovery
  • object describe / DDL-style metadata inspection
  • relationship discovery for lookup, master-detail, and child links
  • SOQL row queries
  • Tooling API metadata queries
  • lead, contact, and opportunity lookup
  • opportunity stage/probability updates
  • activity logging for calls, emails, and meetings on the right CRM record
  • opinionated natural-language commands for common CRM workflows
  • credential setup guidance using HybridClaw stored secrets

Default Workflow

  1. Start with read/plan commands. Do not mutate CRM state unless the user explicitly asks.
  2. Run the bundled helper directly via bash in the current session:
    bash
    python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py ...

Secret Refs

The helper routes all HTTP traffic through the HybridClaw gateway proxy. OAuth credentials are sent as <secret:NAME> placeholders that the gateway resolves server-side — real secret values never enter the Python process or the agent context.

Required stored secrets:

  • SF_FULL_USERNAME
  • SF_FULL_PASSWORD
  • SF_FULL_CLIENTID
  • SF_FULL_SECRET
  • SF_DOMAIN — login for production, test for sandbox

The gateway automatically captures the OAuth access_token from the login response and stores it as SF_ACCESS_TOKEN; it also captures instance_url as SF_INSTANCE_URL. The token never enters the Python process or the agent context. Subsequent API calls reference it via bearerSecretName, so the gateway injects the bearer token server-side.

Ask the user to set them once in this order:

  1. Browser admin: open the active HybridClaw admin URL ending in /admin/secrets and set the SF_* secrets.
  2. Browser /chat or TUI fallback:
text
/secret set SF_FULL_USERNAME you@example.com
/secret set SF_FULL_PASSWORD <password-plus-token>
/secret set SF_FULL_CLIENTID <connected-app-client-id>
/secret set SF_FULL_SECRET <connected-app-client-secret>
/secret set SF_DOMAIN login
  1. Local console fallback:
bash
hybridclaw secret set SF_FULL_USERNAME you@example.com
hybridclaw secret set SF_FULL_PASSWORD '<password-plus-token>'
hybridclaw secret set SF_FULL_CLIENTID '<connected-app-client-id>'
hybridclaw secret set SF_FULL_SECRET '<connected-app-client-secret>'
hybridclaw secret set SF_DOMAIN login

Update an Opportunity:

bash
python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py update-opportunity "Acme Renewal" --stage "Closed Won"
python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py update-opportunity 006000000000001AAA --stage "Negotiation/Review" --probability 80

Log activities:

bash
python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py log-activity call "Acme Renewal" --object opportunity --subject "Discovery follow-up" --date today

python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py log-activity meeting "BigCo" --object account --subject "Implementation review" --date 2026-05-01 --duration-minutes 45

Emit JSON for downstream tooling:

bash
python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py --format json describe Account

Working Rules

  • Keep the default posture read-first and plan-first.
  • Mutations are limited to Opportunity StageName/Probability updates and Task/Event creation for calls, emails, or meetings.
  • Use exact Salesforce ids when available. If resolving by name returns multiple matches, stop and ask for the exact record.
  • Never print secrets, dump the full environment, or commit auth profile files.
  • Treat SF_DOMAIN as one of: login (production) or test (sandbox).
  • Prefer --format json when another tool or script needs the response.
  • Treat raw query and tooling-query SOQL as full-credential reads: any caller with gateway access can read arbitrary Salesforce data allowed by the stored OAuth user.
  • For large tables, narrow the selected columns and use a SOQL LIMIT first.
  • The helper strips Salesforce attributes objects by default to keep row output compact. Use --keep-attributes only when the caller explicitly needs them.
  • If the API route is disabled or insufficient, explain that and fall back to browser or admin guidance instead of guessing.
  • Cost per assistant run is recorded by HybridClaw UsageTotals from normal model usage events; helper output includes costMeasurement.system = "UsageTotals" so evals can verify the accounting contract.

Eval Suite

Run the offline natural-language planner scenarios:

bash
python3 skills/salesforce/scripts/salesforce_query.py --format json eval-scenarios

The fixture at evals/scenarios.json contains 30 scenarios across lead/contact/opportunity reads, Opportunity updates, activity logging, and compound commands.

Questions about Salesforce

What does Salesforce do?

Read Salesforce leads, contacts, opportunities, inspect schema/SOQL metadata, update opportunity stage/probability, and log calls, emails, or meetings with a deterministic gateway-proxied helper. Salesforce is an agent skill from HybridAIOne/hybridclaw. Read Salesforce leads, contacts, opportunities, inspect schema/SOQL metadata, update opportunity stage/probability, and log calls, emails, or meetings with a deterministic gateway-proxied helper.

When should I use Salesforce?

Salesforce fits situations like: tasks that involve CRM management.

How do I install Salesforce in Claude Code?

Run `npx skills add HybridAIOne/hybridclaw --skill salesforce -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/salesforce in HybridAIOne/hybridclaw) into .claude/skills/salesforce in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

How do I install Salesforce in Codex?

Run `npx skills add HybridAIOne/hybridclaw --skill salesforce -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/salesforce in HybridAIOne/hybridclaw) into .agents/skills/salesforce in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.

Can I use Salesforce in Cursor, Gemini CLI or GitHub Copilot?

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add HybridAIOne/hybridclaw --skill salesforce -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/salesforce, .gemini/skills/salesforce, .github/skills/salesforce and .opencode/skills/salesforce in your project.

What does Salesforce need to run?

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Salesforce needs Python for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (python3) and credentials named SF_FULL_PASSWORD, SF_FULL_SECRET and SF_ACCESS_TOKEN. Our summary lists: Python 3; A credential in SF_FULL_SECRET; A credential in SF_ACCESS_TOKEN.

Does Salesforce access the network?

SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.

Is Salesforce safe to install?

Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.

What licence does Salesforce use?

Salesforce is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.

How many tokens does Salesforce use?

About 2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 7.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.2k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.

What are the alternatives to Salesforce?

Skills that share tags, products or a category with Salesforce: Soql Lib Query Builder (beyond-the-cloud-dev/soql-lib, 154 stars), Sf Datacloud (Jaganpro/sf-skills, 424 stars), Soql Lib Selector (beyond-the-cloud-dev/soql-lib, 154 stars) and Dev Setup (Portwood-Global-Solutions/Portwood, 126 stars). The comparison table on this page puts their stars, adoption, token cost, safety result and licence side by side.

Who maintains Salesforce?
