What it does

Verify is an agent skill from growerp/growerp. Build, run and screenshot the GrowERP admin Flutter app headless to verify UI changes at runtime.

Its SKILL.md is about 490 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Mobile, covering Cross-platform mobile apps. It works with Flutter, Linux and macOS. The repository describes itself as: GrowERP AI Flutter ERP for Web, Linux, MacOS, Windows, Android, IOS using Moqui.org in English, French, German, Spanish, Thai and Dutch. The licence is Apache-2.0.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Cross-platform mobile apps

Example prompts

  • “/verify”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 83e237c. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • flutter
    • ffmpeg
    • curl

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use curl, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Verify loads about 491 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 26 tokens; SKILL.md has 179 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~26
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~491

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Verify GrowERP Flutter changes (admin app, Linux desktop, headless)

Prereqs

  • Backend must run on :8080 (pgrep -f moqui.war); REST probe: curl -s -o /dev/null -w '%{http_code}' http://localhost:8080/rest/s1/growerp/100/Authenticate?classificationId=AppAdmin → 403 = alive.
  • Login account test@example.com / qqqqqq9! (AppAdmin, GROWERP owner). The desktop app restores the last session from the user's home dir, so it usually lands on the dashboard already logged in — no UI login driving needed.

Build + run + screenshot

bash
cd flutter/packages/admin
flutter build linux --debug # ~40s incremental
Xvfb :99 -screen 0 1280x800x24 &
env -u WAYLAND_DISPLAY GDK_BACKEND=x11 DISPLAY=:99 \
  build/linux/x64/debug/bundle/admin > /tmp/app.log 2>&1 &
sleep 15 # app boot + login restore + dashboard REST loads
DISPLAY=:99 ffmpeg -y -loglevel error -f x11grab -video_size 1280x800 -i :99 \
  -frames:v 1 shot.png
# crop a tile: ffmpeg -i shot.png -vf "crop=W:H:X:Y" tile.png

Gotchas

  • Must unset WAYLAND_DISPLAY + set GDK_BACKEND=x11, else the window opens on the user's live Wayland session instead of the Xvfb display.
  • pkill -f 'bundle/admin' kills your own shell (pattern matches the bash -c command line; exit 144). Use pkill -x admin.
  • Phone layout is NOT verifiable headless here: no window manager is installed, so GTK ignores xdotool resizes (window clips, Flutter never relayouts) and does not clamp to a small Xvfb screen. Phone (412px) rendering is only covered by CI integration tests or a real emulator.
  • convert/import/scrot are not installed; use ffmpeg x11grab for screenshots.
  • Runner default window is 1280x720 (linux/runner/my_application.cc).
  • Drive input with xdotool (installed); xdotool search --class admin finds the window.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add growerp/growerp --skill verify -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/verify, .gemini/skills/verify, .github/skills/verify and .opencode/skills/verify in your project.

What does Verify need to run?
