What it does
This skill generates diagrams as native draw.io files for requests such as flowcharts, architecture, ER, sequence, class and network diagrams, mockups and wireframes, along with GRC-specific diagrams like control maps, audit processes, risk register flows and compliance architecture. The agent writes draw.io XML in mxGraphModel format to a `.drawio` file in the working directory and checks that the XML is well-formed before calling it ready.
If you ask for PNG, SVG or PDF, it finds the draw.io CLI (on the PATH first, then standard macOS, Linux, Windows and WSL2 locations), exports with the diagram XML embedded so the image stays editable, and deletes the intermediate `.drawio` file after a successful export. Exported files use double extensions such as `name.drawio.png`. If the CLI is missing it keeps the `.drawio` file and tells you to install the desktop app. Edge routing is tidied with `npx @drawio/postprocess` only when it is already available, and JPG is noted as lossy and not editable.
