What it does

Route Map is an agent skill from gjovanovicst/golang-auth-api. Complete HTTP route structure with auth layers, middleware chains, rate limiting, and handler mappings for all API and GUI endpoints.

Its SKILL.md is about 4.7k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Backend & APIs, covering Authentication, Rate limiting and Authorization and RBAC. The repository describes itself as: A modern, production-ready Go REST API for authentication and authorization, featuring social login, email verification, JWT, and Redis integration. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Authentication
  • Tasks that involve Rate limiting
  • Tasks that involve Authorization and RBAC

Example prompts

  • “/route-map”

Workflow steps

3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. middleware.SecurityHeadersMiddleware() -- CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options
  2. middleware.CORSMiddleware() -- CORS headers
  3. middleware.AppIDMiddleware() -- Extracts X-App-ID header (skips /swagger, /admin, /gui)

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 795d18d. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

    Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

    From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

    From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

    From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

    Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

    From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Route Map loads about 4.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 36 tokens; SKILL.md has 416 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~36
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~4.7k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Route Architecture

All routes are defined in cmd/api/main.go. The server uses Gin with these global middleware applied to all routes:

  1. middleware.SecurityHeadersMiddleware() -- CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options
  2. middleware.CORSMiddleware() -- CORS headers
  3. middleware.AppIDMiddleware() -- Extracts X-App-ID header (skips /swagger, /admin, /gui)
