safe-huntAudits the Safe multisig wallets of DeFi protocols for governance misconfigurations, scoring each against a finding library and producing a severity-ranked report.
The agent acts as a governance security analyst working only from live, public data from the Safe Transaction Service API, with no authentication. It is read-only: it never sends transactions or changes state. Findings are ranked by severity and written as audit-ready report items, ambiguous ones are documented with evidence and flagged for manual review, and nothing is called exploitable without on-chain confirmation.
Three modes cover different inputs. Targeted takes one or more Safe addresses and an optional network, defaulting to Ethereum, and audits each one's configuration, its 50 most recent transactions and the full set of findings. Protocol takes a name such as Aave or Compound, finds Safe addresses through DeFiLlama treasury adapters and audits each. Sweep goes through about 292 adapters and outputs a leaderboard ranked by risk score. `scripts/sweep.py` handles the DeFiLlama parsing, API calls, scoring and report, with options for protocol, address, network and output file, and reference files on the API, finding patterns and discovery load on demand.

Safe Multisig Governance Audit loads about 1.4k tokens when it runs, and up to ~5.7k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 116 tokens; SKILL.md has 371 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

.claude/skills/safe-hunt/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 4 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Protocol governance security analyst. Systematically assess Safe multisig configurations across DeFi protocols using live on-chain data via the Safe Transaction Service API. No auth required. Read-only - never send transactions, never modify state. Findings are ranked by severity and formatted as audit-ready report items. Ambiguous findings → document with evidence and flag for manual review. Never conclude "exploitable" without on-chain confirmation.

references/safe-api.md | Making any Safe API call - endpoints, base URLs, response shapes |
references/finding-patterns.md | Scoring any Safe - full criteria, severity thresholds, audit language |
references/defillama-discovery.md | Mode = sweep or protocol - how to extract Safe addresses from DeFiLlama |
Input: one or more Safe addresses + optional network (default: ethereum). → Deep audit of each Safe: config + 50 most recent txs + full finding set.
Input: protocol name (e.g. "Aave", "Compound"). → Look up protocol in DeFiLlama treasury adapters → extract Safe addresses → run targeted audit on each.
Input: "sweep all" or no address given. → Parse all ~292 DeFiLlama treasury adapters → extract all Safe addresses → run targeted audit on each → output ranked leaderboard by risk score.
Step 0 - Determine mode:
references/defillama-discovery.mdreferences/defillama-discovery.mdStep 1 - Discover addresses (skip for Mode 1):
scripts/sweep.py for Mode 2/3 - it handles DeFiLlama parsing, Safe API calls, scoring, and report generation.python3 ~/.claude/skills/safe-hunt/scripts/sweep.py [--protocol <name>] [--address <0x>] [--network <net>] [--output report.md]references/defillama-discovery.md.Step 2 - Fetch Safe config + tx history (for manual/targeted flow):
Load references/safe-api.md for exact endpoints. Fetch:
GET /api/v1/safes/{address}/ → configGET /api/v1/safes/{address}/multisig-transactions/?limit=50&ordering=-nonce → recent txsStep 3 - Score findings:
Load references/finding-patterns.md. Evaluate every pattern against the fetched data.
Step 4 - Report: Output per finding-patterns.md report format. Always include: Safe address, network, protocol name, risk score, findings sorted by severity, evidence, audit language.

## 🔴 CRITICAL / HIGH RISK
### [Protocol Name] - 0xSafeAddress (ethereum)
Risk Score: 85/100
Owners: 3 | Threshold: 1/3 | Version: 1.2.0 | Guard: None | Modules: 1 unknown
**[HIGH] Single-signer threshold (1/3)**
Any single owner can execute transactions unilaterally without consensus.
Evidence: threshold=1, owners=3
Audit language: "The Safe multisig securing [protocol] admin functions is configured with a 1-of-3 threshold, effectively granting any single signer unilateral control over privileged operations including [X]. This constitutes a critical centralization risk."
**[HIGH] Unknown module enabled**
Module 0x1234... has unrestricted access to all Safe assets and is not in the known-safe module registry.
Evidence: module=0x1234..., not in whitelist
Audit language: "An unverified module (0x1234...) is enabled on the Safe, granting it the ability to execute arbitrary transactions. If compromised or malicious, this module bypasses the multisig threshold entirely."

Safe Multisig Governance Audit fits situations like: auditing a DeFi protocol's admin controls and multisig setup; checking a specific Safe address for governance misconfigurations; ranking many protocols' Safe wallets by risk to find leads for review.
Run `npx skills add forefy/.context --skill safe-hunt -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/blockchain/safe-hunt in forefy/.context) into .claude/skills/safe-hunt in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Safe Multisig Governance Audit needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: Python 3 to run scripts/sweep.py; Network access to the Safe Transaction Service API and DeFiLlama.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Safe Multisig Governance Audit is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 4.3k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
