What it does

bb-browser turns a website into a command-line call: bb-browser site followed by a platform and command, such as twitter/search or zhihu/hot, returns structured data. This variant is for OpenClaw, where every command must carry the --openclaw flag so it runs inside OpenClaw's own browser, with no Chrome extension or daemon. It covers 36 platforms and 103 commands, and the first step is bb-browser site update to pull the community adapters.

Output can be switched to JSON, and --jq filters it down to specific fields, for example listing only stock names from a hot-stocks command. bb-browser site info shows which arguments an adapter takes. Adapters run inside browser tabs, so a site that needs login returns an HTTP 401 error with a hint, and you sign in by hand through openclaw browser open before retrying. New adapters can be written by following bb-browser guide. The platforms span search, social, news, developer sites, video, finance, jobs and shopping.
