test-data-protection-cryptoAssess sensitive-data lifecycle, secret handling, cryptographic design and implementation, key management, password storage, randomness, signing, encryption, transport protection, and side channels…
Test Data Protection Crypto is an agent skill from cyberful/cyberful. Assess sensitive-data lifecycle, secret handling, cryptographic design and implementation, key management, password storage, randomness, signing, encryption, transport protection, and side channels during authorized penetration tests or code audits. Use for data exposure, hardcoded secrets, weak cryptography, token forgery, nonce misuse, key rotation, TLS, backup, log, export, deletion, and privacy-boundary review.
Its SKILL.md is about 920 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 5 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`, `references/cryptographic-review.md` and `references/data-lifecycle.md`).
It sits in Security, covering Cryptography and Test data and fixtures. The repository describes itself as: Cyberful is an open-source AI Red Team for discovering, exploiting, verifying, and remediating vulnerabilities. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
8 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit ec598a6. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Test Data Protection Crypto loads about 924 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 112 tokens; SKILL.md has 340 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Record owner, tenant, readers, writers, retention, residency, and the consequence of disclosure, modification, replay, rollback, or unavailability.
Define the required property before evaluating an algorithm: confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, freshness, unlinkability, forward secrecy, password-hardening, or non-repudiation. Encryption is not a substitute for authorization, and signing is not a substitute for freshness or context binding.
Read data-lifecycle.md for exposure analysis. Read cryptographic-review.md for primitive, protocol, and key review.
For every protected value, trace:
Review call sites, not only wrappers. A secure wrapper can be bypassed by legacy helpers, configuration fallbacks, or manual encoding.
Use known-answer tests, boundary inputs, duplicate operations, corrupted fields, wrong context, wrong key version, reordered messages, stale artifacts, and restart behavior. Search for nonce reuse across process forks, replicas, retries, backups, and counter resets.
Measure timing only with sufficient repeated samples and matched controls. Prefer a code-level proof when a variable-time secret comparison or padding oracle is directly visible.
Classify exposed material precisely: public identifier, personal data, authentication secret, service credential, key-encryption key, signing key, recovery material, or encrypted blob with accessible keys. Establish actual access path and retention.
Do not inflate a version string or disabled legacy cipher into a critical finding without a negotiated or reachable path.
State the failed property, cryptographic boundary, key scope, affected data, and rotation implications. Recommend well-reviewed high-level constructions, purpose-separated keys, explicit versioning, authenticated framing, controlled secret stores, and migration that handles existing ciphertext and tokens.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Test Data Protection Crypto is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Test Data Protection Crypto is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 924 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.2k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
