build-figmaGuides an agent through turning a Figma node into production UI with the repo's own components, then checks the result visually before finishing.
This is an orchestrator for implementing Figma designs, started by a `/build-figma` command or a figma.com design link that includes a node ID. It first parses the file key and node ID, refusing links with no node, then runs an intake step that asks the Figma MCP for design context and a screenshot, splits sparse or oversized results into child nodes and downloads brand assets rather than redrawing logos.
Before any product code changes, the agent inventories the repo's design system and writes an intake note holding the target surface, the node tree, a table mapping Figma pixel values to tokens and a map from each node to an existing component. Implementation then uses the surface's own styling system and pins Figma metrics locally instead of changing component defaults. A blocking visual judge step, based on a verify-this skill, closes the work.
It needs the Figma plugin with a connected MCP server and the cursor-team-kit plugin, and stops with a request to install them if either is missing. Reference files cover design system discovery, lessons from past failures and the visual judge.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 9f451cf. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Build Figma loads about 961 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.2k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 68 tokens; SKILL.md has 388 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 388 words (~961 tokens).
“Orchestrator for Figma → production UI. It does not replace the skills below. Read each when that phase starts; do not restate them here.”

cursor/plugins
Keeps a TSV decision log for long or unattended agent runs, one row per decision with what, why, evidence and result, so a reviewer can check the work later.
cursor/plugins
Digs into why code is shaped the way it is by checking git history, pull requests and connected tools in parallel, then reporting a cited read on the tradeoffs.

cursor/plugins
Applies four layers of technical-writing rules to docs, RFCs, readmes, PR descriptions and commit messages so a tired engineer follows them on the first read.
cursor/plugins
Adds a second, stronger model that the main agent consults before major decisions, when stuck and before finishing, controlled by /advisor commands.

Run `npx skills add cursor/plugins --skill build-figma -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (dyl-stack/skills/build-figma in cursor/plugins) into .claude/skills/build-figma in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add cursor/plugins --skill build-figma -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (dyl-stack/skills/build-figma in cursor/plugins) into .agents/skills/build-figma in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add cursor/plugins --skill build-figma -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/build-figma, .gemini/skills/build-figma, .github/skills/build-figma and .opencode/skills/build-figma in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Build Figma is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The Figma plugin with a connected Figma MCP server; The cursor-team-kit plugin.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Build Figma or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 961 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.3k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
