External Electron App Automation
cashew-labs/libretto
Drives desktop Electron apps already installed on your machine, such as Slack, Discord or VS Code, by relaunching them with a debugging port and using the Libretto CLI.
Builds and checks clickable deep links that open a thread, file, folder or settings panel in tools like Codex, Cursor and VS Code, usually for sharing in Slack.

agent-deep-linksBuilds and checks clickable deep links that open a thread, file, folder or settings panel in tools like Codex, Cursor and VS Code, usually for sharing in Slack.
Given a target app and object, such as a conversation thread, a file or folder, or a settings panel, the skill picks the right link shape by reading a bundled cross-app matrix of known-good formats and their support level. When support is unknown it verifies locally first, checking the app bundle's declared URL schemes and smoke-testing the scheme with the operating system's open command before sending anything.
Output follows a few fixed rules: build Slack-safe link syntax, prefer absolute paths for file and folder links, keep labels short and action oriented such as Open in Cursor, and never claim a deep link works unless the matrix confirms it or it was just verified. An uncertain route is marked as inferred rather than stated as fact, and templates are given for a Codex thread link and file links into Cursor, VS Code and VS Code Insiders with a line and column.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 0930e13. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Agent Deep Links loads about 513 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.2k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 59 tokens; SKILL.md has 207 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 207 words (~513 tokens).
“Use this skill when a user asks for clickable links that should open directly in an app (usually from Slack). This includes verifying whether a target app supports deep links at all, selecting the right URL shape, and providing fallbacks…”

Agent Deep Links fits situations like: sharing a clickable link to a Cursor or VS Code file in Slack; checking whether a tool supports a custom URL scheme before linking to it; building a fallback message when no deep-link format is known for an app.
Run `npx skills add composio-community/awesome-codex-skills --skill agent-deep-links -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (agent-deep-links in composio-community/awesome-codex-skills) into .claude/skills/agent-deep-links in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add composio-community/awesome-codex-skills --skill agent-deep-links -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (agent-deep-links in composio-community/awesome-codex-skills) into .agents/skills/agent-deep-links in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add composio-community/awesome-codex-skills --skill agent-deep-links -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/agent-deep-links, .gemini/skills/agent-deep-links, .github/skills/agent-deep-links and .opencode/skills/agent-deep-links in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Agent Deep Links is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: macOS for checking an installed app's registered URL schemes.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Agent Deep Links or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 513 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 670 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
