healthmd-cli-qaTest the standalone Health.md CLI, portable healthmd-mcp server, and direct mobile paths.
Healthmd CLI QA is an agent skill from CodyBontecou/health-md. Test the standalone Health.md CLI, portable healthmd-mcp server, and direct mobile paths. Use for CLI/MCP QA, Rust↔Swift/Kotlin protocol compatibility, Manual IP/Tailscale pairing, typed query/UI/image checks, status/raw/extract/file/resume/cancel, wake notifications, cross-platform release gates, failure diagnosis, or physical-device plans without the Health.md macOS app.
Its SKILL.md is about 4k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files (for example `evals/evals.json`). Compatibility notes: Automated CLI checks require the independently locked shared-core and CLI Rust workspaces; mobile-side checks require the relevant Apple or Android build…
It sits in Mobile, covering iOS development, Android development and MCP servers. It works with Model Context Protocol, Rust, macOS and Kotlin. The repository describes itself as: Source code of Health.md. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
7 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit a5a2227. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
cargopython3swiftxcodebuildmakeFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Automated CLI checks require the independently locked shared-core and CLI Rust workspaces; mobile-side checks require the relevant Apple or Android build tools. Live E2E requires an exact compatible mobile build with Direct CLI Access, platform health/local-network permissions, and a disposable destination for file tests.
From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Healthmd CLI QA loads about 4k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 98 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,397 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from CodyBontecou/health-md at commit a5a2227, republished under its AGPL-3.0 licence (© CodyBontecou). 1,397 words, ~4,008 tokens.

The focused protocol test validates the canonical packages/contracts/direct-protocol/v1/fixtures/swift-reference.json through its byte-identical Rust packaging mirror: pairing proofs, Swift encoding, request fingerprints, and transfer frames. Changes to cryptographic transcripts, canonical JSON, enum layout, UUID/date encoding, or frames require protocol-version analysis. Never regenerate this fixture from Rust just to silence failure.
CI must pass on macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows. Verify release checksums plus healthmd --version, healthmd --help, idempotent isolated healthmd setup codex --skip-pairing, same-binary and compatibility-launcher MCP handshakes, and isolated healthmd direct devices. Test unreachable, authenticated app_active: false, late availability, expiry, local cancellation,
and disabled (--wake-timeout 0) paths on both source platforms. The default is 120 seconds with
250 ms to 2 s retries. The same in-flight operation must continue after the user opens Health.md;
do not accept a test that requires re-running it. Expiry stays direct_source_unavailable with
additive wake_window_seconds. MCP calls with a progress token emit health-free
notifications/progress at wait start and about every 10 seconds; cancellation interrupts the
wait immediately without becoming terminal phone-side cancellation.
Wake enrollment is reported truthfully per selected device. Without enrolled wake material,
healthmd status/healthmd.direct_readiness must report enrollment unavailable (mode
wait_only) and no test should expect APNs or FCM. Published alpha.6 binaries remain wait-only even
if old enrollment material exists. For current source and subsequent official builds, a stored wake
credential for the selected iPhone reports available/enrolled and a locked-phone wait attempts
one APNs push through apps/wake; verify delivery and P1 fallback without asserting delivery as a
transport guarantee. Android remains wait-only until RFC-0005 P3/FCM ships. Keep outer process
timeouts longer than wake plus operation bounds. Run the Worker policy/HMAC/type-check/dry-run gate
as well as Rust default/no-default/all-feature tests so packaging cannot compile wake back out.

Test the standalone Health.md CLI, portable healthmd-mcp server, and direct mobile paths. Healthmd CLI QA is an agent skill from CodyBontecou/health-md.md CLI, portable healthmd-mcp server, and direct mobile paths.
Healthmd CLI QA fits situations like: rust↔Swift/Kotlin protocol compatibility; manual IP/Tailscale pairing; typed query/UI/image checks; status/raw/extract/file/resume/cancel.
Run `npx skills add CodyBontecou/health-md --skill healthmd-cli-qa -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/healthmd-cli-qa in CodyBontecou/health-md) into .claude/skills/healthmd-cli-qa in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add CodyBontecou/health-md --skill healthmd-cli-qa -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/healthmd-cli-qa in CodyBontecou/health-md) into .agents/skills/healthmd-cli-qa in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add CodyBontecou/health-md --skill healthmd-cli-qa -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/healthmd-cli-qa, .gemini/skills/healthmd-cli-qa, .github/skills/healthmd-cli-qa and .opencode/skills/healthmd-cli-qa in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Healthmd CLI QA needs the command-line tools its instructions call (cargo, python3, swift, xcodebuild and make). Our summary lists: Python 3. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Automated CLI checks require the independently locked shared-core and CLI Rust workspaces; mobile-side checks require the relevant Apple or Android build tools. Live E2E requires an exact compatible mobile build with Direct CLI Access, platform health/local-network permissions, and a disposable destination for file tests..
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Healthmd CLI QA is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 16k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
