code-mate-opencodeRuns OpenCode once with opencode run and reads its JSON event stream, leaving its default denial of permission prompts in place for analysis.
This skill lets the agent delegate repository analysis or coding work to OpenCode, or compare OpenCode's answer with another coding agent's. It sets the working directory to the project you named, applies a finite timeout of normally 10 minutes, confirms that `opencode` exists and then calls `opencode run` with the prompt as a single quoted argument and `--format json`.
Stdout is parsed as a JSON event stream, and an error event or a nonzero exit marks the run as failed. In headless mode OpenCode denies permission prompts by default, and the skill keeps that for analysis, enabling only the minimum tools when you explicitly want workspace changes and never adding `--auto` just to get past a denied permission. The agent avoids the interactive UI and authentication flow and asks you to configure a missing provider or credentials in Code Mate.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit dd0767e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
OpenCode Delegation loads about 343 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 48 tokens; SKILL.md has 179 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/code-mate-opencode/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).command -v opencode. If it is missing, stop and ask the user to install OpenCode in Code Mate.opencode run "<prompt>" --format jsonPass the prompt as one quoted argument. Parse stdout as a JSON event stream and treat an error event or nonzero exit as failure. Never start the interactive OpenCode UI or an authentication flow.
If OpenCode reports a missing provider or credentials, stop and ask the user to configure OpenCode in Code Mate. Never request, read, print, or copy credentials.
Headless mode denies permission prompts by default; keep that behavior for analysis. Only when the user explicitly requests workspace changes may the command enable the minimum tools needed. Do not add --auto merely to avoid a denied permission.
Example: ask OpenCode to inspect a failing test without editing, run the command above from that repository, and summarize the final content event and any tool errors.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, OpenCode Delegation needs the command-line tools its instructions call (opencode). Our summary lists: OpenCode installed through Code Mate; A provider and credentials configured in Code Mate.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
OpenCode Delegation is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 343 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
