code-mate-minimax-codeSends a bounded task to MiniMax Code with mcode exec, passing the smart permission mode for analysis and never the full one.
This skill covers delegating repository analysis or coding work to MiniMax Code. After setting the working directory to the project you named, a finite timeout and a `command -v mcode` check, the agent runs `mcode exec` with the prompt as one quoted argument. The final answer text is the result, and a nonzero exit is a failure.
Permissions get most of the care. Analysis-only tasks pass `--permission smart` explicitly, and `--permission full` is never used, nor is any flag that relaxes the mode. Editing tools are allowed only when you explicitly ask for workspace changes, and prompts stay read-only otherwise. The agent does not open the interactive TUI or a login flow, and if a login, API key, model or provider is missing it stops and asks you to configure MiniMax Code in Code Mate.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit dd0767e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
MiniMax Code Delegation loads about 357 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 49 tokens; SKILL.md has 188 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/code-mate-minimax-code/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).command -v mcode. If it is missing, stop and ask the user to install MiniMax Code in Code Mate.mcode exec "<prompt>"Pass the prompt as one quoted argument. For analysis-only tasks pass --permission smart explicitly; never pass --permission full. Treat a nonzero exit as failure, and treat the final answer text as the result. Never start the interactive TUI or login flow from the agent task.
If MiniMax Code reports missing login, API key, model, or provider configuration, stop and ask the user to configure MiniMax Code in Code Mate. Never request, read, print, or copy credentials.
Only allow modification tools when the user explicitly requests workspace changes, and prefer read-only instructions in the prompt otherwise. Never pass a flag or setting that relaxes the permission mode.
Example: ask MiniMax Code to explain the cause of a failing test without editing, run the command above, then summarize the result within the chosen timeout.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: MiniMax Code Delegation is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: MiniMax Code installed through Code Mate (the mcode command); Login, API key and model configured in Code Mate.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
MiniMax Code Delegation is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 357 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
