cherry-skill-marketplaceSearches for, installs and helps create agent skills in Cherry Studio when you ask or when a built-in skill falls short, then returns to the original task.
The marketplace is not the default route for ordinary work: documents, presentations and spreadsheets go to the matching built-in skill first. This skill takes over only when you explicitly ask to find, install, uninstall, list or create a skill, or when a built-in skill or tool cannot meet the need, for example by returning unsupported or producing the wrong format. A capability gap is not a stopping point, so the agent moves straight into filling it instead of replying unsupported.
Two MCP tools do the work: `mcp__skills__search_skills` with one to three focused keywords, and `mcp__skills__install_skill` with the install source copied verbatim from a search result in the same session. At most three results are shown, and before installing, the agent says a third-party skill inherits current tool permissions and waits for your clear consent. Viewing or removing installed skills goes through the Skills settings screen, with the target name confirmed first. If nothing suitable turns up, the built-in `skill-creator` builds and checks a custom skill, and the original task resumes.
2 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f429fc4. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Cherry Skill Marketplace loads about 534 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 64 tokens; SKILL.md has 128 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/cherry-skill-marketplace/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).
mcp__skills__search_skills,参数为 { "query": "1-3 个聚焦关键词" }。mcp__skills__install_skill,参数为 { "install_source": "<搜索结果的原值>" }。
mcp__skills__search_skills 发起 1 个聚焦查询;结果不合适再调整 query。source_url。install_source 原样传给 mcp__skills__install_skill,再立即回到原始任务。

Cherry Skill Marketplace fits situations like: searching for a skill that fills a capability gap; installing a third-party skill after confirming its permissions; creating a custom skill when no marketplace result fits; listing or removing installed skills through the Skills settings.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Cherry Skill Marketplace is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Cherry Studio with the skills MCP tools search_skills and install_skill.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Cherry Skill Marketplace is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 534 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
