surprise-meCreates an unexpected creative deliverable by reading the other available skills, picking one to three and combining them into a single cohesive artifact.
When someone asks to be surprised, or is bored or wants inspiration, the agent reads every skill listed as available, selects one to three and designs a creative mashup that produces a single cohesive deliverable instead of separate demos. Examples include a presentation about algorithmic art or a research report turned into a slide deck.
Planning favors visual impact and emotional delight over information density, and draws on the user's known interests from memory when available. Theme ideas include something tied to today's date or news, a small project the user did not ask for, a playful what-if, a data and design artifact, or an interactive HTML or React experience.
If no other skills exist, three fallbacks apply: a designed HTML artifact built from an interesting news story, a single-page interactive experience such as generative art, a mini-game or an animated infographic, or a personalized artifact from known user context. The agent then follows each chosen skill's instructions, combines the outputs and reveals the result with a short teaser and minimal explanation.

Surprise Me Creative Mashup loads about 658 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 89 tokens; SKILL.md has 322 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

anthropics/skills
Creates original posters and static art as PNG or PDF by first writing a short design philosophy, then expressing it visually on a canvas.
ZzzLc0405/photo-abstract-editorial
Creates one vertical editorial image from an uploaded photo, keeping the photo untouched and adding an abstract panel and short English title derived from it.
adithya-s-k/manim_skill

Generate original one-ink or controlled two-ink editorial images from any theme, sentence, article idea, object, or reference photo.
Zeejay0/gathered-scenes-zine-skill
Turns a photo into a tactile collage poster where part stays an untouched photographic anchor and the rest becomes a simplified, color-fading illustration of the hidden scene.
bytedance/deer-flow
Deploys a project to Vercel with one script and no login, then returns a live preview URL and a claim link for moving the deployment into your own Vercel account.
bytedance/deer-flow
Researches a GitHub repository over four rounds using the GitHub API and web search, then writes a structured markdown report with timeline, metrics and Mermaid diagrams.
bytedance/deer-flow
Picks a suitable chart type from 26 options for your data, maps the data to that chart's parameters and generates a chart image through a JavaScript script.

Surprise Me Creative Mashup fits situations like: you ask the agent to surprise you with something creative; you are bored and want an unexpected showcase; you want a single piece that combines several installed skills.
Run `npx skills add bytedance/deer-flow --skill surprise-me -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/public/surprise-me in bytedance/deer-flow) into .claude/skills/surprise-me in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add bytedance/deer-flow --skill surprise-me -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/surprise-me, .gemini/skills/surprise-me, .github/skills/surprise-me and .opencode/skills/surprise-me in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Surprise Me Creative Mashup is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 658 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
