domain-modelingBuild and sharpen a project's domain model. An agent skill from brim-borium/spotify_sdk.
Domain Modeling is an agent skill from brim-borium/spotify_sdk. Build and sharpen a project's domain model. Use when discussing codebase terminology, writing or editing a GLOSSARY.md, or recording or editing an ADR.
Its SKILL.md is about 810 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 4 other files (for example `ADR-FORMAT.md`, `GLOSSARY-FORMAT.md` and `agents/openai.yaml`).
It sits in Development, covering Domain-driven design and Architecture decision records. The repository describes itself as: Flutter Package to connect the spotify sdk. The licence is Apache-2.0.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2622fc0. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Domain Modeling loads about 806 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 42 tokens; SKILL.md has 400 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/domain-modeling/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 3 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Actively build and sharpen the project's domain model as you design. This is the active discipline: challenging terms, inventing edge-case scenarios, and writing the glossary and decisions down the moment they crystallise. (Merely reading GLOSSARY.md for vocabulary is not this skill: that's a one-line habit any skill can do. This skill is for when you're changing the model, not just consuming it.)
Most repos have a single context:
/
├── GLOSSARY.md
├── docs/
│ └── adr/
│ ├── 0001-event-sourced-orders.md
│ └── 0002-postgres-for-write-model.md
└── src/If a GLOSSARY-MAP.md exists at the root, the repo has multiple contexts. The map points to where each one lives:
/
├── GLOSSARY-MAP.md
├── docs/
│ └── adr/ ← system-wide decisions
├── src/
│ ├── ordering/
│ │ ├── GLOSSARY.md
│ │ └── docs/adr/ ← context-specific decisions
│ └── billing/
│ ├── GLOSSARY.md
│ └── docs/adr/Create files lazily: only when you have something to write. If no GLOSSARY.md exists, create one when the first term is resolved. If no docs/adr/ exists, create it when the first ADR is needed.
When the user uses a term that conflicts with the existing language in GLOSSARY.md, call it out immediately. "Your glossary defines 'cancellation' as X, but you seem to mean Y. Which is it?"
When the user uses vague or overloaded terms, propose a precise canonical term. "You're saying 'account': do you mean the Customer or the User? Those are different things."
When domain relationships are being discussed, stress-test them with specific scenarios. Invent scenarios that probe edge cases and force the user to be precise about the boundaries between concepts.
When the user states how something works, check whether the code agrees. If you find a contradiction, surface it: "Your code cancels entire Orders, but you just said partial cancellation is possible. Which is right?"
When a term is resolved, update GLOSSARY.md right there. Don't batch these up: capture them as they happen. Use the format in GLOSSARY-FORMAT.md.
GLOSSARY.md should be totally devoid of implementation details. Do not treat GLOSSARY.md as a spec, a scratch pad, or a repository for implementation decisions. It is a glossary and nothing else.
Only offer to create an ADR when all three are true:
If any of the three is missing, skip the ADR. Use the format in ADR-FORMAT.md.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add brim-borium/spotify_sdk --skill domain-modeling -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/domain-modeling, .gemini/skills/domain-modeling, .github/skills/domain-modeling and .opencode/skills/domain-modeling in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Domain Modeling is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Domain Modeling is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 806 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
