tutorQuizzes you on the notes in an Obsidian StudyVault, tracks proficiency per concept and drills weak areas in four-question rounds.
The agent finds the StudyVault in your project, reads its compact dashboard and asks what kind of session you want, offering options based on the dashboard: a diagnostic for unmeasured areas, drilling named weak areas, choosing a section, or a hard-mode review once everything is strong. It answers in your language and stops if no vault exists.
Each round builds exactly four single-select questions with four options each from the section's markdown files, following a quiz-rules reference that allows no hints. Weak concepts are rephrased in new contexts instead of repeated. Results are graded in a table with explanations, and progress is tracked at concept level in per-area files holding attempts, correct counts, dates, status and error notes, while the dashboard keeps only aggregated numbers.
7 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 397110c. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
StudyVault Quiz Tutor loads about 1.4k tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.9k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 94 tokens; SKILL.md has 518 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from bevibing/tutor-skills at commit 397110c, republished under its MIT licence (© bevibing). 518 words, ~1,396 tokens.

StudyVault Quiz Tutor fits situations like: taking a diagnostic of what you know across a StudyVault; reviewing a specific section with a short quiz; drilling concepts you got wrong in earlier sessions; checking learning progress on the dashboard.
Run `npx skills add bevibing/tutor-skills --skill tutor -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/tutor in bevibing/tutor-skills) into .claude/skills/tutor in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add bevibing/tutor-skills --skill tutor -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/tutor in bevibing/tutor-skills) into .agents/skills/tutor in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add bevibing/tutor-skills --skill tutor -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/tutor, .gemini/skills/tutor, .github/skills/tutor and .opencode/skills/tutor in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: StudyVault Quiz Tutor is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: An Obsidian StudyVault folder in the project.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 533 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
