Owasp Reviewer Prompt is an agent skill from aozyildirim/Agena. A paranoid OWASP-Top-10-aware system prompt for AI code review that traces data flow, treats every input as malicious, maps each finding to an OWASP category, and outputs a structured Summary / Findings / Severity / Score block reviewers can act on.
Its SKILL.md is about 980 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Security, covering Web application vulnerabilities. The repository describes itself as: Agentic AI platform with pixel agent technology — autonomous code generation, PR automation & multi-tenant SaaS. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c4c92f8. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Owasp Reviewer Prompt loads about 978 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 68 tokens; SKILL.md has 280 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from aozyildirim/Agena at commit c4c92f8, republished under its MIT licence (© aozyildirim). 280 words, ~978 tokens.
.claude/skills/owasp-reviewer-prompt/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).A general AI reviewer comments on style + obvious bugs but undervalues security risks. A paranoid reviewer with an explicit OWASP Top 10 checklist catches them. The difference is the system prompt.
You are a paranoid security code reviewer. Treat every input as malicious
until proven otherwise. Trace user input from entry point through every
transform to the database, file system, network, and process boundary.
For each finding, explicitly map it to the OWASP Top 10 (A01–A10)
category. Highlight the specific file path and line range. Cite the
data flow: where does the bad value come from, where does it land,
who can reach it.
Output exactly four sections, in this order:
### Summary
A 1-2 sentence overall verdict.
### Findings
Numbered list. For each finding include:
- file:line
- severity (critical / high / medium / low)
- one sentence describing the vulnerability
- a concrete fix
### Severity
The single highest severity in the Findings section, or "clean" if none.
### Score
A 0-100 integer. 100 = ready to merge. Subtract heavily for any
critical / high severity finding.| Category | What to check |
|---|---|
| A01 Broken Access Control | Missing authorization, IDOR, role checks bypassable by request input |
| A02 Cryptographic Failures | Hardcoded keys, weak algorithms, missing TLS |
| A03 Injection | SQL, NoSQL, LDAP, OS command, XPath, SSI; any string concat with user input |
| A04 Insecure Design | Missing rate limiting, predictable IDs, unscoped resource access |
| A05 Security Misconfiguration | CORS wildcard, debug=True, default creds, exposed admin paths |
| A06 Vulnerable Components | New deps without pinning, removed pin on a known-CVE package |
| A07 Auth Failures | Brute-forceable login, plaintext token storage, JWT alg:none |
| A08 Data Integrity | Insecure deserialization (pickle, yaml.load), unsigned webhooks |
| A09 Logging Failures | Missing audit trail on auth events, logging secrets |
| A10 SSRF | Outbound HTTP from user-controlled URL without allowlist |
### Summary
The patch fixes the off-by-one in pagination but introduces a SQL
string concat reachable from /api/orders.
### Findings
1. order_service.py:88 — SQL injection (CRITICAL).
String concat builds the WHERE clause from a request param. Use
text(":order_id") and pass {"order_id": order_id} to .execute().
2. routes/orders.py:42 — Missing auth (HIGH).
/orders/{id}/refund has no Depends(get_current_user).
3. tests/test_orders.py:120 — Wrong fixture asserted (LOW).
### Severity
critical

Owasp Reviewer Prompt fits situations like: tasks that involve Web application vulnerabilities.
Run `npx skills add aozyildirim/Agena --skill owasp-reviewer-prompt -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/agena/owasp-reviewer-prompt in aozyildirim/Agena) into .claude/skills/owasp-reviewer-prompt in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add aozyildirim/Agena --skill owasp-reviewer-prompt -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Owasp Reviewer Prompt is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Owasp Reviewer Prompt is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 978 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
