Docstring Deep Dive is an agent skill from albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX. Review public AlbumentationsX docstrings for useful descriptions, runnable examples, parameter semantics, and related transforms.
Its SKILL.md is about 530 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Development, covering Technical documentation and Computer vision. It works with Python. The repository describes itself as: Image augmentation for computer vision. AGPL-3.0-only or commercial licensing. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 5a5a49e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Docstring Deep Dive loads about 534 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 37 tokens; SKILL.md has 277 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX at commit 5a5a49e, republished under its AGPL-3.0 licence (© albumentations-team). 277 words, ~534 tokens.
.claude/skills/docstring-deep-dive/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Read the complete docstring and implementation before editing. Follow the format in
Coding Guidelines and run
pre-commit run check-ax-rules --all-files; the hook owns mechanically checkable requirements.
The first paragraph is the web and search preview. Describe what the operation changes, how it changes it, and the problem it helps model. Keep parameter lists, return types, supported targets, and dtype details in their own sections. Avoid filling the preview with generic shape-preservation claims or instructions to read the rest of the docstring.
When shortening the preview, move useful details into the relevant parameter description or note. Remove repetition.
Use See also for two to four related transforms where useful, with one transform and a short selection hint per
bullet. Keep cross-links reciprocal. Keep Note bullets factual; put recommendations in See also.
A reader should be able to choose the operation, configure it, and run the example. Re-read the complete docstring following the last edit, verify each claim against the public route, and check that examples expose consequential behavior without narrating obvious Python statements.

Docstring Deep Dive fits situations like: tasks that involve Technical documentation; tasks that involve Computer vision.
Run `npx skills add albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX --skill docstring-deep-dive -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.codex/skills/docstring-deep-dive in albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX) into .claude/skills/docstring-deep-dive in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX --skill docstring-deep-dive -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.codex/skills/docstring-deep-dive in albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX) into .agents/skills/docstring-deep-dive in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add albumentations-team/AlbumentationsX --skill docstring-deep-dive -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/docstring-deep-dive, .gemini/skills/docstring-deep-dive, .github/skills/docstring-deep-dive and .opencode/skills/docstring-deep-dive in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Docstring Deep Dive is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Python 3.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Docstring Deep Dive is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 534 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
