What it does
It uploads the article's HTML and image files straight to WeChat's servers, exchanging an app id and secret for an access token that is cached in memory only for the process's lifetime and never written to disk; cover and body images go up through the material-upload endpoint while the article body, title and summary go up as a JSON post to the draft or publish endpoint. Credentials come from named slots in a local environment file, and the API host can be repointed at a proxy through a config setting when needed.
Before any upload it runs through a shared first-time setup check across the whole article toolkit, unless the user has explicitly said in writing to skip that check for this run. Oversized images get a compressed copy written alongside the original, which a bundled dependency produces but which the script never cleans up or uploads as the real content image. The documented recommendation is a first run with draft-only publishing to confirm the result before switching to a real broadcast, and a separate full command chains cover upload, body-image upload, draft creation and publishing together depending on configuration.

publish_completed 门禁 ⛔
字段在本篇 article.yaml。publish.py 不读、不改，由智能体维护：false = 发布流程未闭环，true = 已视为发布完成。
写回 true 之前，四项缺一不可：
article.html存在；- 文章目录下存在封面
cover.(png|jpg|jpeg|webp)（不在imgs/里）； article.md与article.html中均不含placeholder；- 发布命令成功并拿到回执（
media_id或publish_id）。
任一不满足：只可标记为「已提交草稿，未闭环」，不得写回 publish_completed: true。
封面裁剪框（2.35:1 / 1:1）的细则见 branches.md「三」。
