What it does

Review Changes is an agent skill from AgiFlow/aicode-toolkit. Review changes against file-specific toolkit rules. Trigger for code-review and quality-check requests. Do not trigger when the user asks to generate a project or author coding rules.

Its SKILL.md is about 320 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Development, covering Code review. The repository describes itself as: Toolkit for Coding Agents to work reliably with repo of any size. The licence is AGPL-3.0.

When your agent uses it

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit d8debed. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Review Changes loads about 322 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 50 tokens; SKILL.md has 147 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~50
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Review changes using project rules

  1. Identify changed files and the consumer workspace. For each file call review-code-change with { "file_path": "..." } and inspect its full feedback and returned rules.
  2. Compare actual source and diff against the applicable rules yourself. An unconfigured backend returns rules for host-agent review with identified_issues: [] and fix_required: false; those fields are not evidence of compliance. Missing project, template or RULES.yaml likewise means review could not establish compliance.
  3. Report findings with file/line, severity, specific rule, evidence and suggested correction. Explicitly state when rules were missing or a backend could not run. Do not claim that an empty issue list passed review without examining the code.
  4. Propose fixes and ask permission before editing; recheck any corrected files. Workspace settings may invoke an external agent backend and incur credentials/cost even without CLI backend flags. Check and explain configured settings before requesting such a review.
