blueprintTurns a one-line objective into a multi-step plan file with PR-sized steps, context briefs, a dependency graph, parallel-step detection and an adversarial review.
Blueprint produces a Markdown plan that any coding agent can pick up cold for large, multi-session work. It runs five phases: research (git and GitHub CLI pre-flight checks, then reading project structure, existing plans and memory files), design (one-PR-sized steps, typically between 3 and 12, each with dependency edges, parallel or serial ordering, a model tier and a rollback strategy), draft, review and register.
Each step in the plan file under `plans/` carries a context brief, task list, verification commands and exit criteria, so a fresh agent can run it without reading earlier steps. A strongest-model sub-agent does an adversarial review against a checklist and anti-pattern catalog, and critical findings are fixed before the plan is finalized. With git and the GitHub CLI it plans a branch, PR and CI workflow, and without them it switches to a direct mode that edits in place. It is not meant for single-PR tasks or for when you say to just do it.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2d515e4. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
gitFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Blueprint Construction Planner loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 109 tokens; SKILL.md has 588 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from affaan-m/ECC at commit 2d515e4, republished under its MIT licence (© affaan-m). 588 words, ~1,280 tokens.
.claude/skills/blueprint/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Turn a one-line objective into a step-by-step construction plan that any coding agent can execute cold.
Do not use for tasks completable in a single PR, fewer than 3 tool calls, or when the user says "just do it."
Blueprint runs a 5-phase pipeline:
plans/. Every step includes a context brief, task list, verification commands, and exit criteria — so a fresh agent can execute any step without reading prior steps.Blueprint detects git/gh availability automatically. With git + GitHub CLI, it generates full branch/PR/CI workflow plans. Without them, it switches to direct mode (edit-in-place, no branches).
/blueprint myapp "migrate database to PostgreSQL"Produces plans/myapp-migrate-database-to-postgresql.md with steps like:
/blueprint chatbot "extract LLM providers into a plugin system"Produces a plan with parallel steps where possible (e.g., "implement Anthropic plugin" and "implement OpenAI plugin" run in parallel after the plugin interface step is done), model tier assignments (strongest for the interface design step, default for implementation), and invariants verified after every step (e.g., "all existing tests pass", "no provider imports in core").
.md files — no hooks, no shell scripts, no executable code, no package.json, no build step. Nothing runs on install or invocation beyond Claude Code's native Markdown skill loader. This skill ships with ECC. No separate installation is needed when ECC is installed.
If you are working from the ECC repository checkout, verify the skill is present with:
test -f skills/blueprint/SKILL.mdTo update later, review the ECC diff before updating:
cd /path/to/ECC
git fetch origin main
git log --oneline HEAD..origin/main # review new commits before updating
git checkout <reviewed-full-sha> # pin to a specific reviewed commitIf you are vendoring only this skill outside the full ECC install, copy the reviewed file from the ECC repository into ~/.claude/skills/blueprint/SKILL.md. Vendored copies do not have a git remote, so update them by re-copying the file from a reviewed ECC commit rather than running git pull.

fynnfluegge/agtx
Breaks a conversation's results into feature-level tasks and pushes them to the agtx kanban board, where each task gets its own worktree and agent session.
Wirasm/prp
Coordinates several PRP workstreams in isolated Git worktrees from one session, verifying proof, holding merge gates and sequencing the merges.
open-gsd/gsd-core
Runs several small /gsd-quick tasks as one batch, with a single coordinator that plans them, dispatches workers per item and owns all shared writes and worktree merges.
gittower/git-flow-next
Builds a two-phase implementation plan from a spec issue, analysis or concept, writing a detailed test plan first and the implementation outline second.

Blueprint Construction Planner fits situations like: breaking a large feature into several PRs with a clear dependency order; planning a refactor or migration that spans multiple sessions; splitting work across sub-agents that can run in parallel; keeping context from being lost between sessions on a long project.
Run `npx skills add affaan-m/ECC --skill blueprint -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/blueprint in affaan-m/ECC) into .claude/skills/blueprint in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add affaan-m/ECC --skill blueprint -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Blueprint Construction Planner needs the command-line tools its instructions call (git). Our summary lists: Git and the GitHub CLI (optional; without them it plans in direct mode).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
