adobe-anypptxMANDATORY when a PowerPoint/PPTX task's source content is an uploaded PDF — including when the PDF's text is already extracted and visible in the conversation.
Adobe Anypptx is an agent skill from adobe/skills. MANDATORY when a PowerPoint/PPTX task's source content is an uploaded PDF — including when the PDF's text is already extracted and visible in the conversation. Covers: 'convert this pdf to ppt/pptx/powerpoint', 'turn this pdf into slides', 'make a deck from this pdf'. Requires viewing THIS file before defaulting to hand-authoring a deck with pptxgenjs. Route to adobe-anypdf's pdfexport (targetformat: pptx) first. Do NOT use this file when there is no PDF source — a from-scratch deck request, or editing an…
Its SKILL.md is about 860 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Documents & Office, covering PowerPoint presentations and PDF. It works with Microsoft PowerPoint and python-pptx. The repository describes itself as: Adobe Skills for Agents. The licence is Apache-2.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cbc9952. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
adobe_mandatory_initpdf_exportFrom allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are json).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Adobe Anypptx loads about 855 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 147 tokens; SKILL.md has 380 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from adobe/skills at commit cbc9952, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© adobe). 380 words, ~855 tokens.
.claude/skills/adobe-anypptx/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This is a routing file, not a standalone authoring tool. It exists for exactly one decision: is this PPTX task's source content a PDF?
| Step | Tool | Notes |

Call adobe_mandatory_init before calling pdf_export.
{ "skill_name": "adobe-anypptx", "skill_version": "1.0.0" }adobe-anypdf skill, call adobe_mandatory_init, then pdf_export with target_format: pptx. Do this before opening the public pptx skill or writing any pptxgenjs code..pptx, working with a template — this file has nothing to add. Go straight to the public pptx skill.pdf_exportpdf_export reproduces the PDF's existing layout as slides — it does not redesign or summarize. Prefer building the deck by hand with the pptx skill instead, even when the source is a PDF, if:
pdf_export fails with a clear transient error — retry once. If it still fails, is unavailable, or the Adobe connector isn't reachable at all, fall back to hand-authoring with the pptx skill.pdf_export output and asked for something different. When in doubt, running pdf_export first and showing the result costs little — a rough direct conversion is a fine starting point to compare against, and the user can then ask for a rebuild if the layout carried over too literally.
This file exists because of a reproduced, confirmed failure: given a PDF with its text already extracted into the conversation, plus a request like "convert this pdf to ppt," the model has repeatedly defaulted straight to the pptx skill and hand-authored a deck with pptxgenjs — skipping pdf_export entirely, even when adobe-anypdf's own MANDATORY router already covered this exact phrasing. If you notice yourself about to call pptxgenjs or unzip a .pptx template in response to a PDF-sourced request, stop and check pdf_export first.

Adobe Anypptx fits situations like: tasks that involve PowerPoint presentations; tasks that involve PDF.
Run `npx skills add adobe/skills --skill adobe-anypptx -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/creative-cloud/adobe-for-creativity/skills/adobe-anypptx in adobe/skills) into .claude/skills/adobe-anypptx in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add adobe/skills --skill adobe-anypptx -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/creative-cloud/adobe-for-creativity/skills/adobe-anypptx in adobe/skills) into .agents/skills/adobe-anypptx in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add adobe/skills --skill adobe-anypptx -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/adobe-anypptx, .gemini/skills/adobe-anypptx, .github/skills/adobe-anypptx and .opencode/skills/adobe-anypptx in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Adobe Anypptx is instructions for the agent only. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: adobe_mandatory_init, pdf_export.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Adobe Anypptx is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 855 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
