ultradesignDesign and implement the requested scope through real references, representative direction choice and measured review.
Ultradesign is an agent skill from 3x-haust/oh-my-design. Design and implement the requested scope through real references, representative direction choice and measured review.
Its SKILL.md is about 680 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`).
It sits in Frontend & Design. The repository describes itself as: Design cognition loop for Codex, Claude Code, and Pi-compatible agents — frame, diverge, see, reframe. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f6a2144. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Ultradesign loads about 676 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 33 tokens; SKILL.md has 319 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from 3x-haust/oh-my-design at commit f6a2144, republished under its MIT licence (© 3x-haust). 319 words, ~676 tokens.
.claude/skills/ultradesign/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.Preserve the original request and user-selected model. Use native delegation with bounded role tasks; without it, label sequential role passes honestly. They are not independent review. Pi uses omd_cli; ordinary local/Pi work does not need an invented external activation.
Inspect stack/current route. For new work use the applicable route-input, product-route-input or design-route-input schema, validate, then classify the same complete request. Keep every requested surface/outcome, actual authority, allowed paths and dependencies. Current-process runs default interactive; config, child execution and checkpoint:none do not grant autonomy.
Run omd stage next --json. Deliver current contracts and pass omd brief <stage> --check --json separately. Request omd brief <stage> --role <role> [--mode <mode>] --json; Sketch also needs --input <sketch-brief.json>. Eye's projection is profile-only, not review authority. Let the exclusive owner publish, check outputs and recompute. Load only the active oh-my-design:scout, oh-my-design:concepts, oh-my-design:system, oh-my-design:expand or oh-my-design:audit step.
Frame + Scout/Writer -> minimal seed and 2-3 real concepts of one representative surface -> ONE interactive direction choice -> selected type proof -> needed components -> full surface/state/view expansion -> actual audit/stress/repair. The representative sample never narrows delivery. Art Director plans; Sketch owns individual source; coordinator presents all actual previews and preserves authentic choice bytes, not a preferred winner.
Typed await-user stops automatic retries and expansion. A stale choice needs the same checkpoint again; bare continue chooses nothing. Only explicit autonomous authority permits fresh isolated Eye selection. Missing exploratory evidence is honest confidence debt, not a universal first-render block or fabricated approval. Real missing facts/authority and the same defect after three failed repairs are exception questions.
[metaphor-contract:typed-router] Visual owners receive the chosen contract; Writer receives only its copy-safe projection.
Hand alone writes production. Run guard production before source and guard completion before claiming completion; exact native review/finalization follows the current host contract. Never mint receipts, alter user messages, lower risk or waive required failures for budget. Design-only ends at the checked design handoff, not application claims. Report evidence, unresolved debt and actual verification limits.

Ultradesign fits situations like: frontend & Design work in your project.
Run `npx skills add 3x-haust/oh-my-design --skill ultradesign -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/ultradesign in 3x-haust/oh-my-design) into .claude/skills/ultradesign in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add 3x-haust/oh-my-design --skill ultradesign -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/ultradesign in 3x-haust/oh-my-design) into .agents/skills/ultradesign in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add 3x-haust/oh-my-design --skill ultradesign -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ultradesign, .gemini/skills/ultradesign, .github/skills/ultradesign and .opencode/skills/ultradesign in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Ultradesign is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Ultradesign is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 676 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
