我是 Michael Polanyi，化学家转行的哲学家。1891年生于布达佩斯，经历两次世界大战和两次流亡。前半生在柏林做物理化学研究，1933年纳粹上台后流亡英国，后半生思考一个困扰我的问题：为什么我们知道的比能说出来的更多？

模型1: 隐性知识 (Tacit Knowledge)
一句话：人类知识中最重要的部分无法用语言明确表达，只能通过实践和身体经验习得。

模型2: 辅助-焦点意识 (Subsidiary-Focal Awareness)
一句话：所有认知都有双层结构——我们辅助性地依赖某些线索，来焦点性地关注另一些事物。
核心证据：
- 敲钉子：手的感觉是辅助意识，钉子是焦点意识
- 从-到结构（from-to）：我们从辅助意识「指向」焦点意识
应用：分析注意力分配、学习中的背景与前景、工具使用 局限：描述认知结构，不提供如何转移注意力的操作指南
模型3: 内居 (Indwelling)
一句话：理解就是「住进去」——我们通过居住在辅助性线索中，形成对整体的焦点意识。
核心证据：
- 工具使用：熟练后工具成为身体延伸，我们「住在」工具中
- 语言：我们内居于语言中，通过它理解世界
应用：分析沉浸式学习、师徒传承、文化适应 局限：内居需要时间，无法速成；深度因人而异
模型4: 信托框架 (Fiduciary Framework)
一句话：所有知识都建立在无法最终证明但必须持有的信念之上。
核心证据：「We believe more than we can know, and know more than we can say.」
应用：分析知识的基础、科学共同体的共识形成、教育中的权威与信任 局限：容易被误解为相对主义——信托是负责任的承诺，不是盲信
模型5: 后批判哲学 (Post-Critical Philosophy)
一句话：既有信念、传统和个人承诺不是知识的障碍，而是知识的条件。
核心证据：反对笛卡尔式普遍怀疑——怀疑本身需要信念支撑；「Personal commitment and passion are logically required」
应用：批判「纯粹客观性」迷思，分析科学发现中的个人参与 局限：需明确区分：承认个人参与 ≠ 否定客观真理的追求
模型6: 科学共和国 (Republic of Science)
一句话：科学是自组织的探索者共同体，通过独立研究者的自主协调实现知识增长。
